Specifies Altera-provided Library Mapping Files (.lmf) for use by the Compiler in compiling EDIF Input Files (.edf), VHDL Design Files (.vhd), or Verilog Design Files (.v) that contain non-Quartus® II function(s) that need to be mapped to Quartus II functions.
You can specify the full path name of the LMF in the File name box, or you can click Browse (...) to locate the LMF.
Turn on Show information messages describing LMF mapping during compilation if you want to display information about LMF mapping in the Messages window during compilation.
If a VHDL Design File contains VHDL primitives that have Component Declarations in the maxplus2
package (which is in the \quartus\libraries\vhdlnn\altera directory, where nn is "87" or "93"), you must specify maxplus2.lmf as the LMF for the VHDL Design File. The maxplus2.lmf is located in the \quartus\lmf\ directory. You can specify an LMF in the File name box in the EDA Tool Input Settings dialog box, which is available from the EDA Tool Settings page of the Settings dialog box (Assignments menu).
