Low-level port(s) or multiple ports cannot be connected to padio of WYSIWYG primitive

CAUSE: The EDIF Input File (.edf) contains low-level port(s) or multiple ports which are connected to the padio of a WYSIWYG primitive I/O. Only top-level ports can be connected to padio of a WYSIWYG primitive I/O. This error can occur if a low level port or design entity is compiled separately from the top level design in the EDA tool.
ACTION: Make sure that your EDA tool is set so that it does not connect low-level ports(s) or multiple ports to padio. In general, it is better to correct only the source design file rather than the EDIF Input File. If you prefer to edit the EDIF Input File, make sure that the file conforms to the format for EDIF version 2 0 0. If necessary, consult your EDIF manual.
