| CAUSE: | The Fitter cannot place the RAM in your design because the size you specified for the RAM may be too large to fit on the device; the characteristics of the RAM are not identical to another RAM in your design, preventing the Fitter from packing these two RAMs into one dual-port RAM; or, two RAMs that must be packed in the same dual-port RAM do not share the same clock. |
| ACTION: | Reduce the size of the RAM, or specify characteristics for the RAM that are identical to another RAM in your design to allow the Fitter more flexibility in trying to place the RAM in the device. |
