CAUSE: | You turned on the specified reserve pin, but another pin or entity exists with the same name as the specified reserve pin. This message can also occur when you manually edit the settings and configuration files. |
ACTION: | If you want the two pins to have the same name, delete the conflicting reserve pin assignment. If you want the specified pin to be in the same location, turn off Reserve pin (even if it does not exist in design file) in the Assign Pins dialog box for the specified pin. To avoid receiving this message in the future, Altera recommends using Quartus II dialog boxes and wizards to modify settings, rather than editing the settings and configuration files manually. |
