Quartus

LogicLock region <name> contains illegal setting <number or text> for keyword <text>

CAUSE 1: The setting for the specified keyword in the specified LOGICLOCK_REGION section of the Entity Settings File (.esf) for the top-level entity in the current compilation hierarchy is illegal. This message can occur when you edit the ESF manually to create LogicLock region assignments.
ACTION: Specify a legal setting for the keyword in the ESF. To avoid receiving this message in the future, Altera recommends using the LogicLock Regions window to create LogicLock regions, rather than editing the ESF manually.
CAUSE 2: The specified keyword is no longer a legal keyword in the LOGICLOCK_REGION section of the Entity Settings File (.esf). This message can occur when you are using an ESF generated by a previous version of the Quartus II software.
ACTION: Edit the ESF to delete the specified keyword and setting.
