Slave Binary Image File <name> cannot be read because <text>

CAUSE:

You attempted to generate a flash programming file, and you specified a Slave Binary Image File ( .sbi) for generating the flash programming file. However, the makeprogfile utility that you or the Software Builder is using to generate the flash programming file cannot read the SBI File because of one of the following specified reasons:

  • The device JTAG ID code in the SBI File does not match the device JTAG ID code that you specified in the System Build Descriptor File (.sbd) for the current project.

  • Data in the SBI File is corrupt.

  • The file you specified is not an SBI File.

ACTION:

Perform one of the following actions:

  • If the JTAG ID code in the SBI File does not match the JTAG ID code in the SBD File, change the JTAG ID code in the SBD File so it matches the JTAG ID code in the SBI File, or specify an SBI File that has a JTAG ID code that matches the JTAG ID code in the SBD File.

  • If the file is not an SBI File or is corrupt, specify an SBI File that does not contain corrupt data for generating the flash programming file.

If necessary, generate a new SBI File by specifying the Boot From Flash configuration scheme as the configuration scheme for the current compilation, and compiling a design. Use this new SBI File to generate a flash programming file.
