State machine name <name> must be assigned or compared to state value


CAUSE: In a Text Design File (.tdf), you used the specified state machine name in a group operation, expression, or equation, but you did not assign or compare the name to the value of a state. You must use state machine names in assignments or comparisons to state values only.
ACTION:

Perform one of the following actions:

  • Remove the state machine name from the group operation, expression, or equation.

  • Assign or compare the state machine name to the value of a state. If you believe that you assigned or compared the state machine name to a state value, make sure you declare the state in the State Machine Declaration for the state machine.
