Quartus

Line <number> of Cross-Reference File <name> contains an instance that is used more than once, but the line is missing a "+" at its end

CAUSE: The Quartus II software cannot read the specified Cross-Reference File (.xrf) when you use the Locate to Design File command to locate a node or entity, because the XRF contains an instance, located in the specified line, that is used more than once. Whenever an instance is used more than once, the line containing the instance must have a plus symbol (+) at the end of the line (excluding the first time the instance appears in the XRF). This error may occur because the EDA synthesis tool output file contains an error, or the Quartus II software does not support the EDA synthesis tool you are using. You cannot correct the XRF syntax.
ACTION: Contact Altera Applications or the EDA tool vendor support for assistance.
