Quartus

Specified path to locate file <name> uses the Universal Naming Convention (UNC); however, UNC support is not available in the Quartus II software -- specify a path that does not use UNC

CAUSE: In the File name box of the Open dialog box or the Open Project dialog box, you attempted to open a file or project, but the path name contains a Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path. Currently, the Quartus II software does not support the UNC format for specifying a path to locate a file or project. You cannot continue unless you specify a path name that does not use a UNC path.
ACTION: Click OK to close the message dialog box, and then specify a path name that does not contain a UNC path.
