Quartus

Can't create or overwrite file <name>

CAUSE 1: You tried to restore a project from a Quartus II Archive File (.qar) using the Restore Archived Project dialog box (Project menu). However, the Quartus II software cannot create the specified file or overwrite the existing file with the same file name. This message can occur if you do not have permission to write to the specified directory or to overwrite an existing file with the same name, or if there is a disk error; for example, if you do not have enough available drive space.
ACTION: Click OK to close the message dialog box. The Quartus II software will continue to extract the rest of the archive. To extract the specified file, make sure you have permission to write to the specified directory or to overwrite the existing file with the same name, make sure the specified file is not currently being used by another program, check the hard disk for any errors and available space, and then restore the archived project.
CAUSE 2: You tried to create a Quartus II Archive File (.qar) with the name you specified in the Archive file name box in the Archive Project dialog box (Project menu). However, the Quartus II software cannot create the specified QAR File or overwrite the existing QAR File with the same file name. This message can occur if you do not have permission to write to the specified directory or to overwrite an existing file with the same name, or if there is a disk error; for example, if you do not have enough available drive space.
ACTION: Click OK to close the message dialog box and return to the Archive Project dialog box (Project menu). To create or overwrite the specified QAR File, choose a different file name for the QAR File, or make sure you have permission to write to the specified directory or to overwrite the existing file with the same name, check the hard disk for any errors and available space, and then archive the project.
