Quartus

Can't create working directory <name>

CAUSE: The Quartus II software cannot create the working directory you specified in the New Project wizard (File menu). This message can occur if you specified an illegal directory or path name, do not have permission to write to the specified directory, a file or directory with the same name already exists, or there is a disk error, for example you do not have enough available drive space. You cannot continue using the wizard unless you specify a valid working directory.
ACTION: Click OK to close the message dialog box, and then specify a unique directory name or path name with legal name characters, make sure you have permission to write to the directory, and check the hard disk for any errors and available space.
