Quartus

Can't create project in specified directory

CAUSE: The Quartus II software cannot create the project in directory you specified in the What is the working directory for this project box in the New Project wizard (File menu). This message can occur when you specify an illegal directory or path name, you do not have permission to write to the specified directory, a file or directory with the same name already exists, or there is a disk error, for example, you do not have enough available drive space. You cannot continue using the wizard unless you specify a valid working directory.
ACTION: Click OK to close the message dialog box, and then specify a unique directory name or path name with legal name characters, make sure you have permission to write to the directory, and check the hard disk for any errors and available space.
