Quartus

Compiler settings name contains an illegal character -- specify a legal Compiler settings name

CAUSE: You specified a Compiler settings name in the Settings name box in the Save Compiler Settings As dialog box, but the Compiler settings name you specified contains an illegal character. The Quartus II software does not allow you to create Compiler settings names that contain illegal characters.
ACTION: Click OK to close the message dialog box, and then specify a legal Compiler settings name. Make sure you use only legal name characters in the Compiler settings name, such as alphanumeric characters.
