Device configuration is in progress. You must stop configuration before closing Programmer window.

CAUSE: You tried to close the Programmer window using the Close command (File menu) while device configuration was in progress. You cannot close the Programmer window unless you stop configuration first.
ACTION: Click OK to close the message dialog box. Wait until the configuration has completed or click Stop to stop the configuration before you close the Programmer window.
