Quartus

Project does not contain a Simulator Settings File -- use Simulator Settings wizard to specify simulation focus point

CAUSE: You selected Simulator Settings in the Category list in the Settings dialog box, but the project does not have a Simulator Settings File (.ssf), which allows you to create Simulator settings. This message can occur if you did not use the New Project wizard to create the project. You cannot continue unless the project contains an SSF and any other necessary settings and configuration files.
ACTION: Click OK to close the message dialog box, and then use the Simulator Settings wizard to specify a focus point for the simulation. The focus point automatically becomes a top-level entity and the Quartus II software creates a corresponding SSF. To avoid receiving this message in the future, Altera recommends using the New Project wizard to create projects and the necessary settings and configuration files, rather than creating projects manually.
