Quartus

Can't make LogicLock region <name> child of LogicLock region <name> -- resources inside region <name> do not match the resources required by back-annotated nodes in region <name>

CAUSE: You tried to make the first specified LogicLock region the child of the second specified LogicLock region using the LogicLock Regions window. Because a parent LogicLock region must completely contain its child LogicLock regions and the first region's current location causes it to exceed the bounds of the second region, the Quartus II software tried to move the first region to the same origin as the second region. However, the device resources at this location do not match the resources required by back-annotated nodes in the first region, so the first region could not be moved and consequently could not be made a child of the second region.
ACTION: Click OK to close the message dialog box, and then move the first region to a location inside the second region where the required resources are available before changing the region's parent.
