Quartus

Symbol <name> has duplicate value <name> in mnemonic table <name> -- ignoring new value <name>

CAUSE: You tried to import one mnemonic table into another, but the mnemonic tables contain duplicate symbol names. Or, you manually edited the mnemonic table in a SignalTap II File (.stp). However, the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer does not support the sample depth that you specified. As a result, the Quartus II software is ignoring the duplicate value for the specified symbol name.
ACTION: Remove the duplicate symbol name, or edit the specified mnemonic table so it contains a unique symbol name.
