We believe that the unique properties of phased logic make it an ideal circuit foundation for a new generation of adaptive computing systems. With its combination of synchronous behavior and delay insensitivity, phased logic would simplify algorithm development and would allow completely automated algorithm mapping. Adaptive computing systems based on phased logic could be as easy to program as current general purpose computers. The following slides briefly summarize why phased logic would be a key enabling technology for adaptive computing.
