The analog simulations has limitations and does not always produce the desired result. The main failure is the nonconvergence. Nonconvergence is due to different factors related to simulation precision (tolerances) and the nature of the model. Recent analog simulators try to overcome this problems introducing optional mechanisms such as user defined tolerances or specific convergence aids.
