2. Click on the Set Working Directory icon in the Design taskbar to set the working directory to the "Lab1" folder.

Setting the working directory defines where Precision Synthesis will create an implementation folder for writing synthesis and place and route output files. Once set, the working directory is listed at the bottom of the Graphical User Interface (GUI) as shown in the above figure.


	We start by invoking Precision Synthesis. 1.a Windows users: double click on the Precision Synthesis icon (shortcut) on the desktop. 1.b UNIX users: type precision at the Unix shell prompt.
