Now we introduce the Precision Synthesis User interface. Only one window is used to drive all of the synthesis steps. This window is called the Design Center. The Design Center window gives you the opportunity to navigate through your design input files, design output files, place and route files, and so on.

On the left-hand side of the Design Center is a series of embedded task bars. Each task bar has its own functionality. Shown here is the Design task bar, Design Analysis task bar and the Xillinx Place & Route bar, called ISE 5.1.
