If we take a closer look at the Design Center we will notice that it is divided into two main areas.

The area on the left contains the Project Files Browser. This is where you manage all the synthesis input files and gain access to the output and place and route files.

You have the option to execute synthesis through the Design Task Bars or from the Project Files Browser through pop-up menus or by double clicking on objects.

If we look closer at the details in the Project Files area we will notice that all the synthesis input files and results files are in one window, including place and route files.
