After you finish the Synthesis process, view the results using the Precision Synthesis Schematic Viewer.

The Schematic Viewer is a quick way to bring up a Schematic. It displays RTL, Technology and Critical Path views. All timing and optimization constraints can be set from the Schematic Viewer. Also, timing reports can be generated directly from selected objects in the Schematic Viewer.

Here is an example of how to invoke the Schematic Viewer from within Precision Synthesis.

From the Design Analysis Task Bar, click on an icon to view the RTL Schematic, critical path schematic or other icon in the task bar.

Or, from the Project Files Browser you can double click on the RTL schematic file or Technology schematic in order to view it.

On this slide we have an example of an RTL schematic.

The RTL schematic is simply the gate level representation of your input files. It consists of generic gates and black box operators.

On this slide we have an example of a Technology schematic.

The Technology schematic is simply the gate level representation of your input files based on the vendor technology cells.
