In this module we examine the physical aspects of synthesis through the Xilinx place and route tool, which is totally integrated within Precision Synthesis. Because of this integration, it is possible to generate xilinx timing reports and a place and route constraints file (.ncf file).

We will look at a specific example to illustrate this integration. We will use Xilinx Virtex-II Pro to become familiar with the place and route design flow in Precision Synthesis.
