CAUSE: | You have edited a Compiler Settings File (.csf) manually in the Text Editor to create assignments and in doing so, assigned a node to the specified VREF pin, to which you have already made an assignment. As a result, the Fitter cannot create the specified VREF pin during compilation because the name already exists for another pin. Altera recommends that you not directly edit the CSF. Instead, you should use the Device page of the Settings dialog box, the Assignment Organizer command, or the Floorplan Editor to make assignments. |
ACTION: | Assign another name to the VREF pin. |
