Settings for aclr port must be same for wraddress and wren ports in altdpram megafunction

CAUSE 1:

You specified an APEX 20K device for a design that instantiates a custom megafunction variation of the altdpram megafunction. Also, when you created the custom megafunction variation of the altdpram megafunction using the MegaWizard Plug-In Manager, you specified the following settings (in addition to specifying other settings):

  • In the Available Megafunctions list, you selected LPM_RAM_DP+.

  • In the ALTDPRAM port register dialog box (MegaWizard Plug-In Manager), under Write input ports, you turned on both 'wraddress' port and 'wren' port.

  • In the ALTDPRAM aclr register dialog box (MegaWizard Plug-In Manager), under Write input ports, you either turned off 'wraddress' port and turned on 'wren' port, or turned off 'wren' port and turned on 'wraddress' port.

However, when you use the altdpram megafunction with the APEX 20K family, and you turn on both 'wraddress' port and 'wren' port in the ALTDPRAM port register dialog box, you must either turn on or turn off both 'wraddress' port and 'wren' port in the ALTDPRAM aclr register dialog box.

ACTION:

Perform one of the following actions:

  • In the MegaWizard Plug-In Manager, turn on or off 'wraddress' port or 'wren' port in the ALTDPRAM aclr register dialog box so that both are on or both are off.

  • Specify for the design a target device that is not an APEX 20K device.

CAUSE 2: You specified an APEX 20K device for a design that instantiates the altdpram megafunction. Also, in a design file, you set the instantiated megafunction's WRADDRESS_REG and WRCONTROL_REG parameters to INCLOCK, but you did not set both the WRADDRESS_ACLR and WRCONTROL_ACLR parameters to either ON or OFF. When you use the altdpram megafunction with the APEX 20K family, and you set both the WRADDRESS_REG and WRCONTROL_REG parameters to INCLOCK, the WRADDRESS_ACLR parameter must have the same setting as the WRCONTROL_ACLR parameter.
ACTION:

Perform one of the following actions:

  • In the design file, change either the WRADDRESS_ACLR or WRCONTROL_ACLR parameter so they both have the ON setting or the OFF setting.

  • Specify for the design a target device that is not an APEX 20K device.
