Can't make SignalTap II incremental routing connection -- source node <name> cannot be used in SignalTap II incremental routing connections


CAUSE: You specified a SignalTap II incremental routing connection from the specified source node. However, the source node is an unsupported type. Only nodes available using the SignalTap II: post-fitting filter in the Node Finder can be used as source nodes in an SignalTap II incremental routing connections. This error can occur when you manually edit the Compiler Settings File (.csf) for the current project and specify a node as the source node for a SignalTap II incremental connection that is an unsupported type.
ACTION: No action is required. To avoid receiving this message in the future, Altera recommends using the SignalTap II UI to create and change SignalTap II incremental routing connection assignments, rather than editing the settings and configuration files manually.
